The receptionist, with her genuine enthusiasm and insightful recommendations for exploring Lyon during the Festival des Lumières, set a welcoming tone that resonated throughout my visit.The room, though modest in size, was thoughtfully appointed with a delightful surprise of chocolates and apple juice that my daughter adored. The comfortable bed and serene atmosphere ensured a restful night's sleep. Despite the lack of a view, the hotel's strategic location near the train station and Christmas market more than made up for it, making it a convenient choice for families.Housekeeping maintained impeccable standards, ensuring a clean and inviting environment. The free Wi-Fi in rooms was a convenient feature, allowing for seamless connectivity. The soundproofed rooms offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center.The breakfast spread was abundant, offering a satisfying selection of French pastries, eggs, bacon, cheeses, and meats.
